WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
First, I must accept that I am a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23)
Second, I must know that as a sinner I owe a penalty.
Third, I must believe that Jesus Christ has already paid my sin debt.
"For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23)
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly." (Romans 5:6)
Fourth, I must receive by faith what Jesus Christ has done for me.
"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God. (John 1: 1 2)
I receive Jesus Christ by prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
